Praise God for safe travel with the many trips over the last couple of months, for useful and encouraging orthography testing workshops out in the village areas. Praise him that the orthographies are progressing as a result an important step before scripture can be checked and published.
Praise God for the enthusiasm of the Kinga and Bena people for their languages, and their desire to read God’s Word in them.
Praise God for the opportunity to go to the conference and then the UK for a month, to catch up with family and friends and have some time to rest.
Please pray for continuing progress with orthography decisions. We hope to be ready to check scripture which has already been consultant checked (Jonah and Ruth and Mark in most languages) towards the end of the year so they can finally be published.
Please pray for safe travel over the next couple of weeks as we drive to the conference in Kenya, back to Dar, then fly back to the UK.
Please pray for our first literacy teacher training workshop in mid-September. Pray for Anna as she organises this, for the teachers and participants who will attend from nine of the language groups.
